CASA PIETRA

Tradition Outside, Clarity Within
New Construction
Cervo, Italy

Designed for a Danish couple, Casa Borgo is conceived as a place of retreat between land and sea. The architecture presents itself outwardly as a classical Mediterranean house, defined by traditional stonework, solid geometry, and a measured relationship with the landscape.

Inside, the atmosphere shifts to a restrained Scandinavian language: light-filled spaces, clean lines, and a palette of natural materials create calm, understated interiors. Carefully cut openings frame precise views of the village of Cervo and the sea beyond, transforming the landscape into a sequence of composed, almost pictorial moments. Tradition and clarity coexist in a house designed for quiet living, contemplation, and continuity with its surroundings.
