CASA ESSENZA

Minimal Architecture in Concrete
New Construction
Seborga, Italy

Casa Essenza is a residence designed for a Swedish artist, defined by an uncompromising use of concrete and a strong material presence. The architecture is reduced to few, decisive gestures: a solid envelope, fluid interiors, and a continuous relationship between inside and outside. Structure, finish, and space coincide, allowing interior and exterior to merge into a single, continuous living environment shaped by light, proportion, and material honesty. Brutalism here becomes domestic—measured, tactile, and silent—transforming the house into both a place to live and a space for contemplation and creation. The project has been featured in various international publications, including Elle Decor.
